Final preparations are underway for the Jackson County Memorial Hospital “Light Up a Life” program. The celebration will start at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1 for the lighting of the Mac Mollison Memorial Tree at the front entrance to JCMH.

The scene will then shift to the Altus Best Western for a special program starting at 7 p.m. It will feature special music by the St. John’s Baptist Church Choir and inspirational speaker John Barrett.

Names of those being honored by their families and friends will be read during the candle lighting ceremony. A reception will follow.

The public is invited. All donations help provide hospice care to those who qualify, but lack resources.
