The Old Greer County Museum and Hall of Fame will hold it’s annual Equinox Barbecue, Auction and Musical Revue on Sept. 20, in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church in Mangum. The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a barbecue dinner followed by an auction. Larry Hood, board member, will be the auctioneer.

The musical revue begins at 7 p.m. Purcy Walker, Representative, will be one of the performers along with several musicians in and around Mangum, including the Master’s Men of the United Methodist Church.

Rev. Don Tabberer, pastor, will be Master of Ceremonies.

Money raised will go toward maintenance and upkeep of the museum. Recently, 137 new windows have been installed in the museum and several rooms have been completely refurbished.

The Museum and Hall of Fame will be open Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for anyone wishing to tour. Members have free admission and may bring guests.
