Don Marshall, a longtime public school educator, has provided scholarship funding to the WOSC Foundation, Inc. for nursing students who will attend Western Oklahoma State College. The Vernie Marshall Memorial Scholarship has been established in memory of Don's wife, Vernie Marshall, who died in 2006. Don and Vernie were very committed to encouraging students about the importance of education. Two worthy scholarships recipients will be selected by the nursing faculty of Western Oklahoma State College. Those students will be provided two years of financial assistance as they progress in the registered nursing program at Western Oklahoma State College.
