Woodward sweeps Altus

The Altus High basketball teams made a long trip to Woodward on Saturday.

Both the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs lost to Woodward.

The Bulldogs were defeated by the Boomers 60-53. Derrick Bull led Altus in scoring with 14 points while Jordan Boone had 12 points.

Altus is now 11-7 on the season. Woodward moved to 14-3.

The Lady Bulldogs lost a low scoring 29-27 decision to the Lady Boomers.

A last shot by Altus was off the mark.

K. Harris led the Lady bulldogs in scoring with nine points.

Altus is now 6-12 on the season.

Both teams will travel to Duncan on Tuesday. The girls game will tip off at 6:30 p.m.

The boys game is scheduled for 8 p.m.
