Christine (Cricket) Coffelt was born Dec. 16 in Dill City to Asa and Zula (Salle) Hankins. She was raised in Mountain Park. Cricket worked in the family owned A & Z Caf in Mountain Park. On April 28 she married her soul mate Wilbur Coffelt in Cache. They were very proud of their two children, daughter, Janet and husband Tom Malloy, and a son,Bill and wife Tina Coffelt. Cricket enjoyed fishing and camping, and she and Wilbur were lake hosts at Tom Steed. They met many friends and had a lot of campfires together. She especially loved her OU Sooners. Crickets greatest joy were her five grandchildren, Tommy Malloy, Todd Coffelt, Krissi Coffelt, Jera and husband Justin Stobaugh and Mike Malloy. She always fried fish and cooked their favorites; chicken and dumplings, fried rice and meatloaf. She would also spend hours playing games with them.
Cricket is also survived by a loving sister and brother-in-law, Ernestine and J.R. Anderson; and her nieces, Pam Montgomery and Penny Swanson. She has 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She and Wilbur attended the First Baptist Church in Mountain Park. After Wilburs passing, she moved to Altus to be closer to her children.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband; parents; and nephews, Ebb Montgomery and Dan Swanson.
