Raymond Edward Jackson, 81, of Lutz, Fla., was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 20, 2013.

Ray was born Aug. 23, 1931, in Lawton to John R. and Elva Lou (Portwood) Jackson. After graduating from Altus High School in 1950, he served as a member of the Air Force during the Korean War. Ray was a Master Mason affiliated with Headrick Masonic Lodge 311 and Altus Masonic Lodge 62. He was a long time farmer and rancher in Jackson County.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Nell; his two daughters, Angela Benson of Monument, Colo., and Diane Jackson of Lafayette, La.; two grandsons, Justin Aufderhar and Kyle Aufderhar, both of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Anna Gale; his parents; and sister, Mary Jackson.
Memorial services are set for 10:30 a.m. ET on Friday at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618
