Rosa Richardson, 77, of Altus, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at her home. She was born Nov. 21, 1936, in Del Rio, Texas, to Pablo and Oracelia Dominquez. She had worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken and Braums for several years. She was kind hearted, yet stubborn in a good way, she would put others before her self, making sure they didnt go without. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends and especially life after retirement.

Rosa was very proud to be the mother of her children; she was loved by all who knew her. She will be missed by her family and friends who loved her very much.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jose Espinoza; and five brothers and sisters.

Rosa is survived by her children Maria Espinoza, son, David Shaffer, Jack Richardson Jr., all of Altus, Oklahoma; her brothers and sisters, Lupe Rogers, Virginia Dominquez, Ruben Dominquez, and Heribeto San Miguel; grandchildren, James Braun III and wife Tina, Rose Braun, Jessica Barrett, Rosa Reyes, Jose Espinoza Jr., Becky Tovar, David Espinoza, Jack Richardson III, James Richardson, Nikita Richardson, Sharon Richardson, Ryan Via, David Shaffer Jr., and Tammy Shaffer all of Altus, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, officiated by Erin Martinez. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
