Deborah Ann Moore was born to Herman and JoAnn (Adams) Moore on Jan. 16, 1956 in Altus. She was raised in Altus and attended Altus schools. On Dec. 24, 1976, she married Lawrence William “Bud” Doresey, Jr. in Altus. Mrs. Doresey was a stay-at-home mom with her five children and she enjoyed life to the fullest. She liked doing arts and crafts and spending quality time with her seven grandchildren. You would often see her carrying around her favorite drink, Dr. Pepper. In her later years, she loved taking care of her dog, Annabelle.
Mrs. Doresey was preceded in death by her parents, JoAnn and Herman Moore; her husband, Lawrence; a daughter, Michelle Doresey; and father-in-law, Lawrence Doresey, Sr.
She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Doresey, Dianna Doresey, and Ashley Doresey and Tony, all of Altus; a son, Lawrence William “Bud” Doresey, III and wife Cassi of Langley AFB, Va.; seven grandchildren, Xavier, Ronnie, Jayden, Isiah, Colby, Natalie and Tanzy; her mother-in-law, Mary P. Doresey of Blair; six sisters, Ruth Adams of New York City, Gail Adams of Parksville, Ga., Sharon Kuykendall of Mount Holly, N.C., Donna Shannon and husband Randy of Petrolia, Texas, Linda McElroy of Lewisville, Texas, and Peggy Smiley and husband Bill of Chico, Texas; and a brother, George Adams of Raleigh, N.C.
