Frances L. Inzer, 81, of Plano, Texas, passed away, March 3, 2013. She was born on Feb. 25, 1932 in Houston, Texas to Westley and Glennie Evans. She married Garland Inzer on Oct. 23, 1954 in Albequrque, N.M. Frances Evans began her nursing career at age 20. After several years as an RN, she began teaching student nurses at the University of Oklahoma. Later, she obtained her Masters Degree at UCLA and continued as a nursing instructor at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, Calif. She served as the Associate Chief of Nursing Services for Education before retiring there and returning with her husband to Oklahoma City.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday at the First Baptist Church Hebron in Carrollton, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, also at the church.
