The Altus High School basketball teams swept a doubleheader from Duncan on Friday night.

The Bulldogs scored the last 18 points in the fourth quarter to come from behind and defeat the Demons, 65-52

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Duncan 49-39.

The Bulldogs (11-9) trailed most of the way and by seven with 5:30 left in the game. However, Altus rallied and Devin Wilkerson came up big down the stretch. The 6-0 sophomore hit a pair of free throws with 2:59 remaining in the game to give Altus a 53-52 lead.

Wilkerson followed that up with back-to-back three point baskets to make it 59-52 and that was too much for the Demons to make up.

The Lady Bulldogs were in control most of the way.

Tisay Woodhouse led Altus with 16 points. Tyara Jones had nine points.

The Altus teams will travel to Anadarko on Tuesday before closing out their regular season on Friday at Lawton MacArthur.

The Lady Bulldogs (5-15) will play Del City in the first round of the Class 5A Regional Tournament at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at Midwest City Carl Albert.

The Bulldogs will meet Lawton MacArthur in the first round of the regional at MacArthur. That game is slated for Feb. 22 at 8 p.m.
