Navajo, Mangum and Hobart were consolation winners in Friday’s Tri-County Basketball Tournament at Western Oklahoma State College.
Navajo romped past Granite 75-21 in a girls game. Rylee Wilson scored 19 points, Kristion Shumaker 14 points and Katelynn Shumaker 13 points for Navajo. Granite was led by Mindy Martin’s eight points.
Hobart defeated Hollis 42-33 in the other girls consolation match up.
Chrissa Martin scored 11 points, all on free throws to lead Hobart. Hollis was led by Mercedes Dickson who had 11 points.
Mangum downed Granite 63-24 in a boys game. Raymond Walton led Mangum with 20 points. Cal Murray paced Granite with 11 points.
Navajo defeated Sayre 63-53 in the other boys’ consolation game.
Josh Bates led Navajo with 21 points while Sayre got a 21 point performance from Skylar Tosh.
