The Altus Lady Bulldogs defeated Oklahoma City Star Spencer 52-51 Saturday afternoon for the consolation championship in the Lady Warrior Classic at Anadarko.
Altus missed a free throw with two seconds remaining. The Lady Bobcats attempted a long shot from the back court which was not good.
Carsyn King scored 21 points while Itiya Knight finished with 10 points.
“We shot the ball better and we broke the full-court press a little better,” AHS Coach David Prickett said. “We passed the ball well. We had 16 assists and we hadn’t been doing that. It was really nice to get two wins (in the tournament.)”
The Lady Bulldogs (4-9) will host Lawton MacArthur on Thursday.
