Much like the White House tradition of giving one lucky turkey a pardon at Thanksgiving, this gobbler - which lives in the backyard of a house in central Altus, was still strutting around his yard Friday morning with his chicken friends. Although he survived Thanksgiving this year, it was unsure if he would be the featured dinner guest on his owner’s Christmas dinner table next month.
