A group of family and friends, led by Corey Woods, hosted the “Woods Haunted House” at their home Saturday, and again last night on Halloween. Woods has been a long-time fan of Halloween and has held haunted houses before, but this year’s was held with free admission with the donation of canned goods or a coat. The items collected are going to the Community Cupboard and local clothes giveaway programs. Woods decided to do the haunted house for free because a lot of the materials and supplies used were donated, and he wanted to give back to the community. Saturday’s event collected enough food to fill their Jeep, and the group was expecting even more to come in last night. Those participating included Corey Woods, Brayden Woods, Jack Woods, Delisa Agular, Corey Agular, Zynn Solis, Carly New, Sarah Dowdy, Sheila Bueckers, Ron Bueckers, Michael French, Keone Dent, Teresa Strain, and Bryan Davis.
