Jerry Christopher of Best Western, and Joan Wilcoxen of the Altus Armed Services YMCA, are shown as they collect personal toiletry items for displaced homemakers and their families who are being sheltered from domestic violence or sexual assault through the services of ACMI House in Altus. There is a bin at the front counter at Best Western of Altus at 2804 North Main Street so you can bring shampoos and personal toiletries, and baby supplies to support an end to domestic violence through Altus ASYMCA’s “Operation Clean Start.” To volunteer at the ACMI House shelter, please phone Mary at 482-3800.
