Jackson County received $2,118.54 for August ‘Tax-Free Holiday’

The Jackson County Commissioners held their regular meeting on October 22, at 10 a.m.

They approved the minutes from their last meeting on Monday, Oct 15.

There were no reports to approve.

In Officers’ reports, Jackson County Treasurer Renee Howard gave a report on the revenue received from the August Tax-Free Holiday Weekend. Received was $2,118.54. Also in Officers’ Reports, Commissioner Chair Marty Clinton said that the Auditor’s Office requires these receiving reports such as the report given by Howard.

There were no blanket purchase orders, nor any new business.

The claims were approved and the meeting adjourned at 10:07 a.m.
