Almost one-third of the Bible is prophet in nature. Sadly, prophecy is often the most neglected topic in the church today. The Friends of Israel two-day conference is being held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Altus to enlighten and educate in His promises.
The two-day conference, titled “The Future: Getting a Grip on God’s Prophetic Word” will be held Saturday, Oct. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m., with a break for dinner, and will finish up on Sunday morning, Oct. 14, from 9:30 to 12 a.m.
Teaching for the event will be Christopher Katulka, Church Ministries representative for The Friends of Israel, and Pat Neff, Church Ministries director for The Friends of Israel.
The conference and dinner are free of charge, and will be held at the church, located at 800 N. Forrest in Altus.
God’s Word is a source of hope in this age of uncertainty. Come and learn about the prophetic promises that await those who believe in Him.
Pastor Boyd Whitehead said, “We look forward to meeting you and having a great time of fellowship and instruction together at our Weekend With The Friends of Israel.”
