The Altus City Council will hold a Special Meeting at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 9 in the Council Chambers. The subject of discussion will be on the North Park Lane construction.
The City advertised for bids and opened them on Sept. 17 and Oct. 3 for the “Construction, Reconductoring and Relocating of the City’s 15Kv Electricl Distribution Lines for the North Park Lane Project.” No bids were received under either bid opening, according to the Special Meeting agenda. The electrical lines must be relocated by Nov. 1.
The council will consider, discuss and may vote to authorize staff to negotiate a contract with a prospective contractor for a proposed public construction contract that does not exceed $50,000.
