Jackson County Memorial Hospital welcomes Dr. Eugene Chen to the JCMH Medical Clinic in Altus. The JCMH Medical Clinic is located at 205 South Park Lane.
Dr. Chen is a Board Certified General Surgeon. He received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois, the Chicago Campus, in 1997. He continued residency training at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, and completed a fellowship in wound care and treating burn patients.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Chen provides general surgery that includes trauma and basic laparoscopic procedures, wound care, burn injuries and upper and lower endoscopies.
Chen is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the United States Army Reserve Corps. He is married and has one child.
