Country star Bryan White to join Mikayla Jo’s Southwest Opry Show in Altus

Celebrate Labor Day weekend at Mikayla Jo’s Southwest Opry Show, a non-profit, Branson-style music show produced and hosted by well-known performer, Mikayla Jo, along with Traci Balderas and special guest emcee, Ken Waugh. The show provides a variety of family-friendly entertainment including singing, comedy and several genres of music from Classic & New Country to Gospel, Oldies and Patriotic music.

The show will be held Saturday, Sept. 1 at the Altus City Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 per seat and are available in advance through Altus at Ag Preference and Red River Federal Credit Union. Tickets will also available be available at the door.

The show’s featured performer is Country music artist Bryan White. White charted 17 singles on Billboard’s Country Charts, had six number one singles, two platinum and two gold records. He joined forces with Shania Twain, and they took “From This Moment On” all the way up to #4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. White has garnered several awards for himself, including a Grammy, a CMA Horizon Award, and an ACM Top Male Vocalist award. He was also named one of People magazine’s “Fifty Most Beautiful People.”

Joining White and Mikayla Jo are some of Texhoma’s finest upcoming music artists, including: Bailey Wesberry, Heartbreak Line Bluegrass Band, Katelynn Shumaker, Mackenzie Hazel, Heather Martin, Amy White, the Hallelujah Boys, Renee Lovejoy, Kylie Miranda, and the North Fork River Band: Jesse Balderas, Roger Balderas, David Kinsey, Jacob Basaldua, Nevin Lawson, and Traci Balderas.

Proceeds from Mikayla Jo’s Southwest Opry Show are donated to local charities and other nonprofits. A donation from this show’s proceeds will be given to Southwest Enterprises, a program for adults with developmental disabilities. Through this program, these individuals receive vocational training and assistance with obtaining community-integrated jobs with the ultimate goals being to be placed in a job within the community.
