Vernie Walker, 103, formerly of Altus, died in Texas, Jan. 30, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m., in the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Kevin Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6 to 9 .pm., in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
