Geneva Plew Webb, 82, of Altus, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kincannon Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Moore officiating. Burial will follow services at the Restlawn Cemetery.

She was born May 28, 1925, in Altus to Henry and Veda (Waller) Berry. She graduated from Friendship School in 1944. She married Max Plew in 1946 in Altus. She was the attendance director for the Altus Public Schools for 24 years from 1968 until her retirement in 1991. She married Ashburn Webb in 1989 in Cache. She also served as the hostess - cashier for 18 years at the Officer's Club at Altus Air Force Base from 1978 until 1996. She served as president of the Washington Grade School Class Parents Association and was active in the Gamma Mothers Club of Altus. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family and friends. Geneva was best known for her hugs and smiles as well as her “positive attitude. She was always a survivor.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ashburn Webb.

She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Hodge and husband Paul of Portland, Oregon; two sons, Marc Plew and wife Dona of Nashville, and Don Plew of Portland; six grandchildren, Jonah and Josiah Barber of Portland,Kara Schmidt and husband Raymond of Portland, Erin, Kinsey and Jon Marc Plew, all of Nashville; two great-grandchildren, Acelin and Connor Schmidt of Portland; a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Walter Hoehne of Altus; her dearly loved nephews, Mike, Kyle and Gene Ray; and many other special relatives and friends
