Altus High Graduation Celebration will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Elks Golf and Country Club. Entry fee is $25 per person, mulligans are three for $5 (limit three per person). Flights will be determined by number of entries. There will be a limited number of carts and they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Relay for Life garage/bake sale will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 21, 6 3/4 miles north on 283 left hand side of the road. All proceeds go towards finding a cure for cancer.

Southwest Oklahoma Chapter of the American Red Cross is currently taking registration for a Standard First Aid/AED class to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 23. This class will include certification for Adult CPR/First AID and the Automated External Defibrillation. You must pre-register and pre-pay for this class by April 20. Duke City Wide Cleanup will be held Saturday, April 28. All volunteers welcome and must meet at the Fire Department at 8 a.m. Items, which need to be picked up, should be placed curbside. Duke Chamber of Commerce will be serving lunch at the city park for all workers. Eddie Summers, assisted by R.B. Masters will be in charge of the city-wide cleanup.
