He was born Nov. 21, 195 in Oklahoma City to Beatrice Yvonne (Bonnie) Fenimore Griffith and Herman Charley Griffith. He died Feb. 5, 2007.
He began school attending Oklahoma City public schools and later moved to Comanche were he completed his remaining school years participating in football, baseball and boxing. He then pursued a career in construction. During this time he married and started a family.
He married Gwendolyn Mae Moody Sept. 1, 1978, at Countryside Baptist Church in Comanche, and later married Breena Dawn Mooney in Duncan.
He was a member of the Meridian Baptist Church and was attending Countryside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, B. Yvonne (Bonnie) and Terry Bullard of the home; his father, Herman Griffith and Jan of Ringling; three sons, Tony Curtis and wife Billye Griffith of Broken Arrow, Billy Shawn and wife Melissa Griffith of Sapulpa, and Timothy Lee and wife Katie Griffith of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Misty Dawn and husband Brandon Yeargain of Bixby; three sisters, Charline and Spider Moore of Duncan, Rhonda Griffith of Lawton, and Darla Ensminger of Duncan; brother-in-law, Daryl Ensminger of Duncan; three foster brothers, Hank Griffith of Loco, Billy Griffith of Ardmore, and Corey Griffith of Texas; two grandmothers, Mageline Fenimore of Duncan, and Mary Griffith of Ardmore; 12 grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles in addition to a large number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Hank Griffith, Billy Griffith, Jimmy Coffee, Eddie Coffee, Kevin Ensminger and Freddie McCammons.
honorary pallbearers will be Danny Poolaw, Dean Poolaw, Gene Carney, Ronnie White, Mickey Broden, Billy Hendrix, Gary Fenimore, Jerry Dale Fenimore, Wade Fenimore, Scotty Mooney, Dwaine Parks, Billy Watson, Kent Biffle and Randy Hale.
