ALTUS - A freestyle motocross demonstration is on tap Thursday in Blair to help raise medical expense funds for the Davis family.

Mickey Davis, 19, was seriously injured in a vehicle accident three weeks ago, but remains in a medically induced coma the OU Medical Center trauma unit.

The FMX demonstration will be performed at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Blair City Park. Admission at the gate is by donation.

Before the actual freestyle demonstration, the two Blair preschool groups will do a lap around the track in honor of Mickey.

Those doing the breath-taking motorcycle stunts will be Cody Powell and Brady Bartlett. These men are on a coast-to-coast FMX tour, but wanted to help the Davis family by doing this demonstration Thursday.

Mickey is the son of Mike and Sheryl Davis. Sheryl is a 5th grade teacher at Altus Intermediate School.
