A 19-year-old Norman man was found dead Saturday morning at a residence north of Duck's Corner, and his body was sent for autopsy to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Oklahoma City.

Jackson County Sheriff's deputies found Chris Wright deceased at 16323 South County Road 210 after being notified of a 911 call received by the Altus Police Department at 10:44 a.m., said Sheriff Morris Roberts.

Wright was a former Altus resident.

"There was vomit in the bed where he was," Roberts said, but he declined to speculate on the cause of death.

Wright's body was taken by Jackson County EMS to Jackson County Memorial Hospital, then on to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Oklahoma City.

"This is just one of those that's going to have to be called by the medical examiner," said Undersheriff Steve Wilson.
