Western Oklahoma College Lady Pioneers won three of four softball games Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Pioneers swept a pair of games from Ranger, Texas, 8-1 and 10-5. They split a twinbill with Hillsdale Baptist. Western dropped a 6-2 decision to Hillsdale in the first game but came back for 9-2 victory in the night.

Alli Flaman, who leads the nation in strikeouts, recorded 15 K's in the Lady Pioneers first game victory over Hillsdale. April Gooday homered in that game.

An eight-run rally in the fourth inning sparked the Lady Pioneers in the second game. Flaman, Gooday and Brittany Perkins each homered in that inning.

In the first game against Hillsdale the Pioneers committed four errors. Hillsdale scored one run in each of the first and fourth innings and four in the second.

Western rallied in the second game. Flaman recorded the mound victory. She hit a home run to help her cause. Melinda Farrow clouted two round trippers while Perkins and Casey Seabolt also hit circuit shots. Western is now 6-2 on the season.
