Search continues for missing man


The search continued at 7 a.m. today for a missing Altus man who fell from the Headrick Bridge late Wednesday/early Thursday morning. According to reports, the man was with friends on the bridge on old Highway 62 when the incident occured. A friend at the scene said Graham lost his footing and fell into the North Fork Red River, but authorities are still trying to piece together information as to exactly what happened, but do not suspect foul play. By day’s end Thursday, friends and family were waiting on the bridge for any word from the official search teams that included members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. A search and rescue team and boat has been brought in from El Reno that was equipped with an underwater camera as efforts continued today.
