Missing child last seen riding bike on N. Crain


Altus Police need your help in locating an 8-year-old child who was last seen Thursday evening, April 7 riding a bicycle in the 700 block of N. Crain.

According to Altus Police Chief Tim Murphy, police responded to a call at around 10:30 p.m. from a parent stating that her child Kolby Sisk was last seen riding his bicycle at around 6 p.m. He is a white male, 4 foot tall and weighing approximately 85 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, black pants, black and white tennis shoes and riding a 24-inch Huffy mountain bike.

He may be in the company of an 18-year-old adult, Junior Welch. Welch is a neighbor who was seen riding with the missing child at or around the 6 p.m. time frame. Welch is a learning-disabled adult who may or may not be in the company of the Sisk child. Welch is described as a white male, 5 foot, 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds.

Police need your help in locating both individuals. Call the Altus Police Department if you believe you’ve seen either of these two missing persons at 580-482-4121.
