Breakfast fundraiser benefits local DAV


The Disabled American Veteran’s Chapter 33 held a pancake breakfast Saturday from 7 to 11a.m. at The Towers in downtown Altus. The menu consisted of pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, orange juice and coffee. Seen here enjoying the meal were Dliran Miller, Davion Miller, Tevin Miller, Teryn Miller with Tower resident and grandfather Don Miller. Members and volunteers assisted with greeting patrons, serving, cooking, delivery, and clean up. Proceeds from this event helps the DAV to assist Veterans with utilities, food, medicines and transportation to doctor visits. The next pancake breakfast will be on March 5.
