Well, here we go. The dates have been set for football equipment checkout and parent meetings.
The 7th and 8th grade will checkout equipment on Aug. 3rd at the Altus Junior High, the 8th grade will get theirs first at 4:30 p.m. and the 7th grade will be at 5:15 p.m. The Parent meeting will immediately follow at 6 p.m. inside the Cafeteria.
Grades 9-12 will get their football gear on Aug, 6 at 4 p.m. at the Altus High School fieldhouse in the North end zone of Hightower Stadium. The 9-12 parent meeting will follow at 7 p.m. inside the AHS cafeteria. This meeting is required for all parents or guardians of kids wanting to play football.
The AHS varsity blue and white preview will be August 15 at 6:30 p.m. with the 9-12 photo day to follow at 8 p.m.
