AJH boys tennis take second

Altus Junior High boys tennis took second in the Altus Invitational.


The Altus Junior High tennis teams both took second place in the Altus Invitational Tournament.

Kaileigh Weaver won the number two singles. Breckyn Brewer placed second in number two singles. Katelyn Randolph placed second in number one singles. Faith Biddlecom placed third in number one singles. Kerigan May and Joye Black were awarded medals in consolation medals in number two doubles.

The boys had some standout performances of their own. Eric Jones was the consolation championship in number one singles. Andrew Tran was second in number two singles. Tagen Burke finished third in number two singles. Christian Jenkins and Gage Gaitan were third in number one doubles. Timothy Kime and Caleb Smith were second place in number two doubles. Jason Ross and Luke Fourroux were the number two doubles consolation champs.

“I’m so proud of both teams,” said coach Kristi Scott. “It’s great to finally start seeing all of these kids’ hard work paying off.”
