Western Oklahoma State College Men’s head basketball coach, Rolando De La Barrerra, is announcing an open tryout for April 16, at 2 p.m.

“We have had these before but not recently,” said De La Barrerra. “Anyone interested can come by the gym at 2 p.m. on the 16th and we will get them signed up and divide all the players present and evaluate them.

“We have a few spots on the team available but we also have redshirt opportunities for the right players. We will also have a junior varsity team that we will select 12 payers for. The junior varsity will have a 12-14 game season and it will provide opportunities for kids to continue their playing careers and develop.”
