Jake Hall will take his talents to Oklahoma Wesleyan in Bartlesville next year.
Hall, the Navajo senior standout, is putting up some huge numbers in his final Spring season on the the high school level.
“Jake is a great kid,” said head coach Weston Winters. “I am really happy for him. He deserves this opportunity. He has a great work ethic. The entire Navajo community is really proud of him. He was able to sign early and that has allowed him to get that behind him and relax this Spring. Jake is really focused on baseball right now. His numbers prove that he is seeing the ball nicely. He is giving us some great leadership as a senior.”
Hall has hit safely in 26 of his 31 at-bats this Spring for the 9-1 Navajo Indians. That gives him an average of .838 with three home runs as the Indians head into today’s first round of the Shortgrass Tournament at Sayre against Carnegie.
