The Altus Bulldogs dropped a game to Lawton Eisenhower, 5-1 yesterday in Lawton.
Even though the Bulldogs managed just one hit against Ike pitching, Altus was able to put runners in scoring position each of the first six innings.
The Bulldogs could not come up with a hit at the right time in order to drive in the necessary runs.
Marcus Molina and Sean Torres combined to throw the six innings with Molina suffering the loss.
Molina yielded eight hits and only three runs were earned. Molina put 10 Ike hitters down on strikes and only walked one.
The Bulldogs will host Lawton Eisenhower this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at Kiwanis Park.
With the Ike pitcher throwing 137 pitches yesterday. It seems unlikely that the Bulldogs will face the same pitcher again today.
