The Western Oklahoma State College Pioneers will host Luna College this afternoon in a double header starting at 1 p.m. Western is at home all weekend with two today, two tomorrow and a single nine inning game on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Pioneers opened their season on Wednesday traveling to Northlake in Dallas. Pioneers moved to 1-0 on the new season by hammering Northlake 12-3. Pioneers finished last season with a record of 54-12 and were one pitch away from winning their 2nd national championship but finished 2nd. This is high quality baseball as the Pioneers are pre-season NJCAA ranked #1 in the nation.
