Pioneers donate to Altus All-Sports


Lora Lea Pickering, left, Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Western Oklahoma State College, presents a $500 check to the President of the Altus All-Sports Association Jancie Hughes. The money was generated last Saturday during the Harlem Ambassadors event. The All-Sports Association is involved in most all Bulldogs athletic program activities. Along with providing letter jackets for all Bulldog athletes lettering in their sports, they disperse funds for things such as sporting goods and other equipment. Six lockers for the new Bulldog locker room came from All-Sports as well as some cold weather equipment for football and the television used on the Bulldogs sideline. Also, several thousand All-Sports dollars went toward the new Bulldog training facility.
