The 11th annual Bulldog Wrestling Camp begins on Monday, June 15 and is a a two day camp to include Tuesday, June 16.
The camp will be held at the Altus City gym on Katy Drive.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on Monday. The cost is $40 per camper. However, if you possess a 2015 USA Wrestling Card, the camp is free.
Two skill levels are dividing the campers into Novice or Open categories.
Bulldog wrestling guru and head wrestling coach, Nick Williams will instruct the camp. Williams was the 2010 5A Coach of the Year and was the 2A Coach of the Year in ‘02.
His Bulldog wrestling program has developed multiple State Champions and High School All-Americans as well as multiple wrestlers who chose to wrestle in the college ranks.
“The goal of this camp is to give the campers two great workouts and the opportunity to learns some next level skills and techniques from Division 1 wrestlers.” said coach Williams.
The technique sessions run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on both days and followed immediately with drilling/live matches until 12:30 p.m.
