Veterans get free admission to first-round football play-off games

For the second year in a row, The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association will be honoring veterans by offering free admission to the first-round football playoff games.

OSSAA will allow free admission to veterans and one guest to any high school football game across the state this weekend. The veteran must show a driver’s license displaying a seal indicating that person is a veteran, a veteran ID card or another form of verification.

Admission for adults and students alike will be $7.

Altus High School will be hosting a playoff game on Friday, Nov. 13. Tickets may be purchased from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13. Ticket booths and stadium gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
