Duke rolls Temple, 54-6

The Duke High School Tigers rolled up Temple on Friday scoring 54-6. The game was called in the first half by the 45 point mercy rule.

Quarterback Luke Milner had four carries for 78 yards and one touchdown for 39 yards. Milner scored twice on two defensive fumble scoop-and-scores. Milner was 2-3 passing for 40 yards and two touchdowns. Both of those touchdown passes were to Tatum Crouch.

Jaylan Hammersley had five carries for 15 yards with four defensive tackles and an interception. Nolan Drennan had 10 carries for 70 yards and two touch downs. Drennan added eight tackles on defense.

Paul Hennessey had four carries for 21 yards and 15 tackles. They were 26 and 14 yards. He had three tackles. Twins Jacob Martinez and Isaac Martinez had 11 tackles and five tackles respectively. Hayden Brown also chipped in six tackles and one sack.

The Tigers are 2-1 on the year and will host Grandfield next week.
