Blair knocked off Navajo yesterday 5-2. Anytime Blair squares off against Navajo in any activity, the “rivals” factor plays a big part in the intensity level. Records do not matter, and both teams have a healthy disliking for the other’s success.

Brayden Gray took the mound for Blair yesterday as Blair, Navajo and Leedey battled in a round robin. Gray was dominant again for the Broncs throwing a complete game yielding just one earned run, and allowing only one hit while sitting five Indians down on strikes. Kaden Hans, Saige Knight and Reagan Tyner paced the Broncs each with a 2-3 effort at the plate and plating one RBI each.

“Gray has been dominant all year for us,” said coach B.J. Armstrong. “Our defense is beginning to look a little better. We were able to stay in the game and put together some hits late in the game to score enough to win.”

Blair lost to Leedey 8-3. Leedey is expected to be the State’s number one ranked Class B team.
