Western Nursing Club makes donation for ‘Project Linus’
Representatives of Jackson County Emergency Medical Services accepted 47 fleece blankets from the Western Oklahoma State College Nursing Club, Thursday, April 12. Since 2011, the Nursing Club has participated in “Project Linus”, a national organization that collects blankets for children who are ill, traumatized or otherwise in need. There are nearly 400 chapter coordinators that collect blankets from volunteers across the United States.
