It’s the event many wait for all year long, so get your calendars out and jot down Friday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. That’s the date for the annual Red Cross Style Show and Luncheon. Volunteers are already meeting to coordinate this festive event, held at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center, in Altus. The luncheon will begin at 11, with a huge silent auction going during the entire program. The modeling of the latest trends, sponsored by local stores, will start at 12:15 p.m. Seen at the Red Cross Style Show and Luncheon committee meeting are: (front row) Mona Guerra, Sherry Dykes, and Jennifer Casias; (back row) Jenny Graves, Katie Paxton, Rosalyn Hall, Mary Lambert, Virginia Goskey, Lori Miller, Mary Esparza, and Beverly Fuller.
