Jackson County Memorial Hospital announces the addition of Dr. Jeff Duncan to the Southwest Orthopedics medical practice in Altus. Dr. Duncan joins orthopedic surgeons Dr. Greg Pickett and Dr. Tom Shurley.
Duncan is a 2004 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. Following a one-year internship, he completed a four-year orthopedic surgery residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, Missouri.
He has been in practice in Midwest City, Oklahoma, since 2009.
He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, The American Osteopathic Association and the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.
Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Duncan received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. He practiced as a physical therapist approximately five years before entering medical school. Dr. Duncan is a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, and is married to the former Kelley Roudebush of Altus. They have four sons: Gant, Jake, Nick and Todd.
As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Duncan provides orthopedic care and surgery for sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, joint pain, and musculoskeletal disorders.
