February is heart month and the American Heart Association creates awareness about heart disease by encouraging individuals and organizations to host a Wear Red Day® to show support of preventing heart disease, the number one disease that affects both men and women.
On Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, we are encouraged to Wear Red and to take a photograph of your Wear Red day—at work, a social gathering, family, friends—and share a photo to place in The Altus Times.
Jackson County Memorial Hospital supports heart disease awareness and its efforts of prevention and saving lives. Send Wear Red photographs to bonniemcaskill@jcmh.com by Feb. 18.
