The Talent Shows are sponsored by KEYB. KEYB is currently lining up a showcase of local talent to perform at both the youth talent show on Thursday evening, Sept. 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and the adult talent show on Friday evening, Sept.11, from 8 to 10 p.m. Miss Altus Outstanding Teen, Ashley Wheeler, will make a special appearance on Thursday evening. These are always fun events and an opportunity to see a variety of talent on display from your local neighbors and friends.

However, there is one correction that needs to be made concerning these events as they were written in the fair section. There will not be a $5 fee associated with the talent show.

The talent shows are being held in conjunction with the Jackson County Free Fair which will be held Sept. 9 – 12 at the Jackson County fairgrounds.
