Representative appointments on Monday’s Co. Commissioners agenda

The Jackson County Commissioners will meet in regular session Monday at 10 a.m. in the Commissioners’ office. Following is a list of the business to be included: Approve reports; Approve blanket purchase orders; Monthly Appropriations for the month of December 2012; Transfer of Appropriations from T-2 to T-3 for purchase of equipment; and Bids on Road and Bridge Materials, Tires, & Herbicides.

Commissioners will also consider and possibly take action on designating Gail Allen as the primary Health Insurance Coordinator and Robin Booker as the secondary Health Insurance Coordinator for Jackson County; designating First Deputy for County Clerk’s office; designating Retirement Coordinator for Jackson County; designating Requisitioning Officers for the County Clerk’s office; and designating Receiving Officers for County Clerk’s office.

They will also consideration and possibly take action on the Appointment of representative to serve on the Circuit Engineering District (CED) 7 Board; the Appointment of representative to serve on the Southwestern Area Economic Development (EDC) Board; the Appointment of representative to serve on the Southwest Oklahoma Development Authority (SWODA); the Appointment of representative to serve on the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission (MAPC); the Appointment of representative to serve on the E-911 Board; the Appointment of representative to serve on the Board of Health; and the Appointment of representative to serve on the Southwest Rural Development Board.

Commissioners will open bids with possible action on one 2-wheel drive 2009 or newer (new or used) SUV with or without trade-in for Assessor’s office; consideration and possible action on transfer of surplus items to Olustee School District from Assessor’s office; consideration and possible action of approval of Travel Policy for Jackson County; and address any new business, if any, before approvinig claims and adjourning.
