It was like a walk in the park for the Western Oklahoma State College Pioneers on Monday night in a regional play-in game with Arkansas Baptist.
Coach Rolando De La Barrera’s crew defeated the visitors 106-83.
Western led the entire way and was never in trouble.
Jadarian Jackson had a big night in scoring 48 points. Sterling Thomas finished with 22 points, Dii’jon Allen-Jorden had 16 points and Jalen Chapman 13 points.
The victory sends the Pioneers (20-10) into the regional tournament at Shawnee. Western will play Northern of Enid in the first round at Oklahoma Baptist University on Wednesday.
