Alicia Clifton was crowned Miss Oklahoma in June 2012, and was named 2nd runner up in the Miss America Pageant last month. Clifton is in Altus this week to take part in the 43rd annual Miss Altus Pageant and related activities.
The Miss Altus Pageant came about when the Delta Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi members were looking for a way and means project that would be different, exciting and add value to our community. This year’s event will be held Saturday night beginning at 8 p.m. in the Altus City Auditorium.
While in Altus, Clifton is visiting local schools to speak to the children about her platform issue, and to local clubs including the Kiwanis Club on Friday.
She will also be performing during the Miss Altus Pageant on Saturday.
