Operation CARE and Joseph’s Closet is teaming up to give kids a day to do their Christmas shopping for their friends and family, just using their nickles and dimes. This is a perfect way to celebrate the spirit of giving with your children.
The shopping event will be held Saturday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 208 E. Cypress.
In order for the children to participate, parents must first get a voucher from the Operation CARE office, 219 W. Commerce. For more information, call 318-2490.
